Battery selection

Post by bgkast » 14 Apr 2020, 13:27

It's about time for me to get a battery for the project.

I'm looking for something compact and ideally light weight,I'm planning on mounting it in the drunk behind the radiator baffles. I want to be able to charge it with my battery tender, which the Google says works on lead acid, sealed, maintenance-free & gel cell batteries. Due to the location a sealed battery would also be nice.

Bonus points for cheap and locally available. :D

Though I have no experience, many say good things about lawnmower batteries. I myself went with the Odyssey PC680. There are crazy light Ines but they are, or we're, many $$$
