At first the ECU was in the engine compartment, right behind the driver seat to minimize wire length. I became concerned about the effects of heat and ended up moving it to the opposite side of the same panel, meaning it's now directly behind the driver's seat on the forward side of the firewall.

I DID manage to sell the donor carcass today but with school starting thats about all I have gotten done. I think I will work on the rear of the frame next so I can get the engine mounted.

Yeah what to do next can have a lot of conflicting factors, like while getting the engine in saves garage space, it also blocks access to that area of the chassis. A lot of give and take on the sequence of steps!

I would like to get going on the front end as well but finding a miata to source parts from is proving difficult. I DO have some mustang 2 front spindles that I can probably make work but going by the book would of course be much easier.
Going to college is taking up a lot of my time but luckily I only have to travel to school two days a week so that leaves me some free Midlana time at home.

Why not order the Miata bits from that vendor I suggest in the book - I forget the name... Manic Motorsports, or something like that.
