For the wishbones, I had a big plate laser cut, turned up some spacer bushes, and will make a jig.

I realised I haven't taken any overall photos for a while - so there they are!
I've made a start on the front frame for the steering rack and radiator.

Finally caught up on uploading updates, this batch is from yesterday.
I turned up some bushes for the steering rack yonks ago, finally put them into the frame.

Thought I'd better check the rack fits, all of this was done by measurement, it does.

And finally the diagonals, just sitting there for now.

I am starting to see a roller in my future, didn't think that day would ever come!

Speaking of which, I bought some crappy old rear tyres a while back, and went to a tyre shop this week to get them mounted up. He had a close size to what I need for the front just pulled off another car, so he gave them to me and mounted them too. These are both almost at the end of their life, but are technically legal, so good enough for the build duration, without wasting dosh on good tyres that will just go off over the next ten years. These ones will be good for a few skids when I get her running :)

I ran the numbers so many times, trying to get just the right amount of "stretch", I want this to look right, as much, if not a little more, than outright performance. I think I nailed it, I'm happy.

Looking great mate, I'm hoping to debut my car at Collingrove next weekend, I'm currently impatiently waiting for my dyno man to contact me to tell me it is ready to be picked up from Pt. Pirie. I'll text you during the week if next saturday is all go. Would love to see you there, given your input. Cheers Roy

Sounds good Roy, I've spoken to my better half, and I should be good to head up to Collingrove! I'll bring my camera.
